Buy Dirt

WE ARE LAND OWNERS!

**We bought 5.5 acres of land where we currently graze cattle and grow flowers.

It has always been a dream of mine to build a home on the ball farm. The farm has such a rich history and Tyler and I love the idea of continuing the beautiful legacy that was started by my great grandparents.

It has been quite the process to get the land surveyed, approved and finalized... almost two years in the making (I remember sitting through some of our first meetings while pregnant with Dean), but the day is here and we could not be more grateful and beyond excited! We are that much closer to building!

We bought the land you see in the photos above! I am beyond thankful that our flower garden is part of the land we own. It is such a relief to know we don't have to start the flower garden over. We have worked so hard to improve the soil and control weeds.

It is still a dream of ours to one day build the house we had originally designed. Therefore we are planning for the future and building the shophouse against the northern fence line, leaving space on top of the hill for a house; if it is in God's plan.

We would also like to leave room for a potential greenhouse or high tunnel in the future. The property does have a slope to it, but it isn't a steep slope. It will be beautiful to sit out front in the morning with a cup of coffee in hand! I can picture the view now.

Above is a 3-D sketch of our shophouse! We haven't finalized a floor plan but we are getting closer! I will keep you all posted. That is all the updates I have for now but I can't wait to share more with you as the journey continues!
